How do you see your financial future?
If you feel like you’ve been too long in the wilderness, living in a world of scarcity, you’re not alone. For many, the battle to escape a dismal financial future goes deeper than just ‘the glass is half empty’ point of view. It’s a very real and paralyzing fear that keeps them poor in every sense of the word.
Though God has promised abundance, an overwhelming number of individuals are poor in body, mind, and spirit – and all because they have put their faith and trust in numbers and spreadsheets.
Anxiety is Not the Will of God
Anxiety is the product of human imagination, a departure from God’s love.
How do I know? I struggle with financial issues just like everybody else. But I think my experiences uniquely position me to help.
I’m Richard Truitt and I have over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, engaged in a variety of activities involving investing, lending, securities, and more.
Maybe more importantly – with three daughters between the ages of 17 and 25 – I understand all too well the stresses of raising a family, dealing with the unexpected, and providing for college while trying to prepare for retirement.
In my personal life, I faced life-threatening surgeries to remove a non-malignant “pseudo-tumor” from my brain stem. And though I’ve since been given a clean bill of health, the unwelcomed experience caused me to face the truth about:
- The need for a proper emergency reserve
- The need for proper insurance
- The need for financial leeway
- The need for an appreciation of time…
As a Certified Financial Planner® with the Enrolled Agent designation from the I.R.S. and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas – I’ll admit, this was a HUGE wake-up call!
Over the years, I’ve watched so many clients and close family members deal with the results of too many poor financial decisions; avoidable mistakes that have often shipwrecked lifelong plans!
- I knew there had to be a better way.
- I knew I had to take some personal inventory.
- I knew that to help others, I had to make changes in my own life.
What I Discovered Is That EVERYONE Can Find Peace!
I know what you’re thinking, but as incredible as this may seem, it’s true…and biblically sound.
Once I understood this, I knew that the real truth about the scarcity and anxiety mindset, how it limits our future and keeps us poor, had to be shared!
I also knew I had the training, the skills and the experience to do it.
What Does a God-Honoring Financial Life Look Like?
This is the question I had to ask myself – and it’s the one I ask other Christians who are struggling with their finances, wanting to do what’s right, but lacking sound guidance, understanding and direction.
If you are a planner, you probably have a tendency to rely on your spreadsheets for proof that you have the future nailed down. You desire security and you trust in things that can be seen. Am I right?
Sabbath Economics, on which our 3-Part Stewardship Coaching is based, assumes that everyone can have enough. It’s grounded in a conscious choice to place limits on your own work and consumption and is based on the 40-year wilderness experience of the Israelites in Exodus and the Jubilee release in Leviticus.
We are not about prosperity theology. We do not have the secret for making a pile of money. We are about helping you to structure your finances in a way that gives you peace.
Trust me, you don’t want to live in the ‘wilderness’…
And the good news is you don’t have to!
Combining the work of Ched Myers of Bartimaeus Cooperative Ministries and my team’s experience in the financial planning industry, we have developed an imperfect – but amazingly effective – process that allows you to honestly examine your resources and bring order to your finances in a rewarding and God-honoring way.
Like Most People, You Have Money Questions
At William F. Robertson & Associates, we believe that no part of an individual’s financial picture is unrelated to the whole. We get to know YOU, the whole YOU, and nothing but the YOU…after all, the best way to get to know someone is by spending time with them, hearing from them and developing a relationship.
You’ll also get to know us and see why we have been so successful in helping men and women, like you, escape their financial ‘wilderness’.
Working together, you’ll have opportunity to ask us your money questions. We’ll get to the root of what has been keeping you from a life of having enough, and get you on the fast path to enjoying a better relationship with your money.
I Follow These Five Fiduciary Principles, And They’ve NEVER Failed Me Yet:
- I will always put your best interests first.
- I will act with prudence; that is, with the skill, care, diligence, and good judgment of a professional.
- I will not mislead you, and I will provide conspicuous, full and fair disclosure of all important facts.
- I will avoid conflicts of interest.
- I will fully disclose and fairly manage, in your favor, any unavoidable conflicts.
The 3-Part Stewardship Coaching Works Because It Was Developed Around These Unfailing Principles!
